A little about me…

I grew up in the midwest, went to college in Florida, and then was a high school teacher in Albuquerque when my husband and I got married.  We then moved to Kansas City where we lived for 20 years, made great friends, raised our family, and built a wonderful life, but we longed for more adventure and travel. After our daughter got married and moved to Texas, we decided to take the leap. We sold our house and 95% of our stuff, bought an RV and hit the road.

Over the 6.5 years we traveled full-time, we visited all 50 states, met so many wonderful people, ate amazing food, and learned a lot about our country and ourselves.  My husband had a full-time job in software engineering, and while I loved all the details of planning our route, where to stay, what to see, etc, I wanted something else to do with my time.    Enter Color Street.

It’s been almost 7 years now since I started this business, and it’s become so much more than I ever dreamed!  We’ve now settled down in central Texas to be near our first grandbaby, and I’m loving the flexibility I have to be able to help out.  I’ve been able to earn several awards, incentive trips, and supplement our income all while having FUN.  I lead a team of about 300 Color Street stylists, and we all have so much fun encouraging and helping each other.  In this current economy, having some extra cash is always helpful.
